Hello all orks, I thought I’d send out this message because a few great things have happened in the last few days. First of all, MANY thanks to Morlem for his website. It will be an invaluble tool for the clan. The website, if you want to check it out, is www.himinbi.com/ragnarok though still in progress, it is not at all bad for one day of work. Second, I have published a list of names of guild members. This will be edited tommorow, once my two friends have gotten registered. Their names may be different, but this is what the list should look like. Grimgor Morlem Reigngod Urk_The_Smasher Thurk Rak_Legsmasher while were at it, I’d like to say welcome to our newest member, Reigngod. Now that we have the webpage up, we are almost ready to make ourselves known. There are a few things we still need, however. A forum would be really nice so that we can more properly communicate. I can probably figure out how to set up some sort of blog or something that will do, but if anyone has a better idea, feel free to speak, as I am not too good with website things. We need to decide on some lore things. I had a few ideas, feel free to give your opinions on them, even if your opinion is “They suck, and so do you, go jump into a pit of spikes.” Creative critisism is good. I will take the position of Chieftain if nobody objects. If sombody else really, really wants it, please talk to me, I would be fine handing it over. If made chieftain, I plan to eventually promote members who have been dedicated or exeptional to a sort of “war council” who along with the priests (the best rpers of the clan) will hold most of the responsibility, seperated evenly among them. My job would just be to make sure they are doing their jobs right, (I don’t like being all-controlling or anything, and wouldn’t mind just being a figurehead or pawn or the council, provided I got to stay in one of those sweet ork keeps.) For our name and such, my idea was The Headchoppers (ork clan names are supposed to be fierce and mean sounding) Our symbol, as such, would be the sillhouette of an elf head with a big wedge down the middle, as if sombody had chopped him down the center of his head with an axe. This, in ork mentality, will freak out our elvish enemies. It will also look cool carved into a shield or something. Well those are my ideas. What do you say? Love em? Hate em? Got better ideas? I encourage you to give feedback. -------------------- Urk!!!!!!!!

Hail. The idea of an rp ork clan has been quite popular to date, and there have so far been 5 interesed people. What I was thinking for the next step was to formalize the making of this clan, and put a post out so that people can become aware of our presence. If we can do this, we can probably grow by at least a few members by beta release, and once that happens, I am hoping we can get a beta invite for the clan. If we do that, we basically are promised power in the real game, as we will have experience, and will have met new people. If nobody has any objections, I would like to make a public move within the next week, probably over Thanksgiving break, as I will have more time then. There are a couple things we will have to go over, however, before we are ready to make this move, a few things must be done. We will need:
It
won't be easy pulling this off, but if we can get through all those
steps, the rest is just getting quality members, which is slow, but not
incredibly difficult if we have the following things accomplished. Urk!!!!!!!! |
